I know I don't have many readers-most of the ones I do have, I communicate with elsewhere on the 'net-and I haven't been the best at even giving you anything to come back here for, but I just wanted you all to know that I'll be having surgery this Friday, the 27th at 9:30 am CST.
It just going to be a simple outpatient laparoscopy to get rid of some endometriosis, and the intensely severe pain that accompanies it. And no, we're not doing it for fertility reasons, because we still have my husband's male factor to contend with, which prohibits us from becoming pregnant except via attempting IVF.
Though I expect to be fine, and make a speedy recovery, surgery-no matter how minor-is a serious thing. So, "just in case", I wanted to let all of you know how much I have appreciated your patronage and support throughout the years. I'm not the most eloquent, or the funniest, or smartest blogger out there, but your comments and connections have meant the world to me. Thank you so much for everything.
I will definitely update as soon as I'm able to sit at my desk (I don't have a laptop). Any good wishes or healing vibes are appreciated.
Best wishes for a smooth surgery and speedy recovery!

Here from LFCA to wish you a less-painful-than-feared recovery, some great books/movies, and all the pain relief you need.

You made me all teary eyed. I am sure you are going to do great, and I hope that the end result is that you are in significantly less pain very soon. Endo is such a wicked beast to manage. I'll be looking for an update after your surgery? Any chance you will do a facebook update via phone? 'Cause now you have me all worried and stuff :) Hugs!

Here from LFCA: Good luck with your surgery on Friday. I have pics from my second lap on my blog. Track back to Oct 2007 to see the pics. Have a speedy recovery!

Here from LFCA. Good luck! I had my first lap last Thursday, and although I completely freaked out about it, now I feel fine.

You are going to be FINE! Endo is pure evil. I wish the medical community could figure out how to cure it once and for all. I'll be thinking about you.
